What Chaetomorpha look like
Dense, tangled masses of rigid, bright green filaments resembling steel wool or fishing line. Individual strands are unbranched and 1–2 mm in diameter. Forms tumbling balls in refugiums.

Extremely fast-growing macroalgae used for nutrient export in refugiums and sump sections. Non-invasive — does not attach to rock or coral. Ideal for natural nitrate and phosphate removal.
