What Green Spot Algae look like
Flat, circular green spots 1–3 mm in diameter that form on glass, rocks, and slow-growing plant leaves like Anubias. Very firmly attached and cannot be wiped off easily.

Indicates low phosphate levels or excessive light duration. Grows slowly but persistently on stable surfaces exposed to light.
