What Silver Molly look like
The Silver Molly is a domestic molly color morph with reflective silver body color. It retains the standard Poecilia livebearer form, with females larger and males slimmer with a gonopodium. Domestic lines may include mixed molly ancestry.
Behavior & temperament
Silver Mollies are peaceful but active fish that do best in groups in hard alkaline water. They graze constantly and appreciate algae, vegetable matter, and planted or structured aquariums. They can breed rapidly in mixed-sex groups.
Diet & feeding
Silver Mollies are omnivores with heavy grazing behavior. Feed spirulina flakes, algae wafers, livebearer pellets, blanched greens, daphnia, brine shrimp, and occasional bloodworms.
