What Tuxedo Platy look like
The Tuxedo Platy is a domestic Xiphophorus maculatus morph with a dark rear body contrasting against a brighter front body. It is compact and swordless, with males smaller and females rounder. Color combinations may include orange-black, yellow-black, or red-black.
Behavior & temperament
Tuxedo Platies are peaceful, active, and hardy in stable hard-water community tanks. They are livebearers and can reproduce quickly. Keep more females than males if mixed, and provide plants or cover for fry.
Diet & feeding
Tuxedo Platies are omnivorous. Feed flakes, micro pellets, spirulina foods, blanched greens, daphnia, baby brine shrimp, mosquito larvae, and occasional small frozen foods.
